Photography by Chen Jiagang will be included in the 25th Anniversary of Havana's 10th Biennial March - April 2009. The Havana Biennial, held at the Wifredo Lam Contemporary Art Centre, is focused on expressing the universal themes common to globalisation through the unique perspectives of artists from Third World regions.
Asia Society has selected New Mao (2003), a set of six life-sized stainless steel statues of Chairman Mao by artist Guangci, to be included in their upcoming exhibition Art and China's Revolution showing from September 5th - January 11th 2008. The show will partner ChinaSquare and the Asia Society Museum in their continued efforts to promote contemporary Asian art.
